British Telecom has come up with a novel approach to the crisis. They offer their employees a year sabbatical against 25% of their normal salary + a 1000 pounds and the permission to take another job for that year. Sounds great, but if Decibel were to offer me a similar proposition, I’d have to decline. I mean, it’s nice, a year off, still having 25% of my salary, receiving an extra 1000 pounds but where the hell am I going to find a new job, for less than a year, in this day and age?

But, kudos to British Telecom for the idea, it’s definitely a brilliant idea…
