I hate some people

Why can’t people just do what they’re supposed to do. Why can’t they leave me alone. I hate people doing things that result a lot of adhoc jobs for me. So, no real blogpost today, just me ranting about how I hate people!

[Update @ 17:01] Hmm… some satisfying news at last. End of coming October, Heinrich Boere will finally face his trial.

It seems Germany is growing a spine…

It seems that Germany as a country is finally growing some sort of spine. Last week, the German Appeals Court ruled that Heinrich Boere is fit for trial. And now, rumours are going that Germany might finally extradite Klaas Carel Faber (article in Dutch) to Holland for trial or convict him of warcrimes in Germany. Unfortunately, Faber has already reached the age of 85 and, if and when convicted, will probably only spend four years or so in prison. On the other hand, the fact that this man has been living as he has in Ingolstad since the war is a slap in the face of his victims.

Old age? Screw him…

Finally, some justice. In Germany, a court has ruled that former Waffen-SS member Heinrich Boere is healthy enough to be brought before the court and tried for the murder of three Dutch civilians as revenge for attacks by the Dutch resistance. While born in Germany, he was raised in Maastricht. After the war he was imprisoned in a allied camp where he admitted to killing the three Dutch men. He escaped the camp and fled to Germany.
